This image most likely came from a vintage postcard. This is a beautiful crop of Santa with a golden cast. Trimmed in gold paint, with gold-filled ear wires.

 

These unique earrings are made with standard scrabble tile game pieces. The images are are altered digitally and printed on high quality paper. The image is then attached to the smooth side of a scrabble tile. The image is then sprayed with a protective coating, and then a thick protective glaze is applied.

 

The sides of the tile are hand painted to give it a 'framed' look.

 

The bail on this pair is screwed into the top of the tile and glued to reinforce.

 

The back of the earrings are random scrabble tile letters, and are not altered.

Size: Approximately 1 3/4" from the very top of the earring. Will not hang down that far below your earlobe.

 

Materials: Earring wires are gold-filled French Wires.

 

Scrabble tile size: Approximately 5/8" wide by 3/4" tall. Not suitable for very small children.
