Q: I would like to know how many strands to use for the main body of this design. I know how many to use for the back stitching but I don't have any guidelines for the rest of the work. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Marta
A: The number of strands you use depends on the size of fabric you are using. If you are stitching on 36 or 40 count you may want to use only 1 strand. If you are stitching over two or over 1 on a larger fabric then 2 strands are normally used. Rarely three strands are used for larger count fabrics.
