Violaceae – the Pansy Mandala, is the 3rd release in the new cross-stitch Floral Mandala Collection from Glendon Place. Violaceae is the family name for the genus Viola, otherwise known as the garden pansy. Pronounced “Vi-o-lace-e-a” (Long “i”, Long “o”, “lace” as it should sound, Long “e” and a short “a”.)
General Information: Stitched using 2 threads of floss over 2 threads of fabric. A total of 16 colors of Dinky-Dyes hand-dyed silk floss, 6 colors of Mill Hill Beads, and 2 colors of Sullivans floss were used in the model.
Fabric: Stitched on 28ct White Jobelan by Wichelt Imports, Inc.

Stitch Count: 198w X 198h
Design Area: 14-1/8?w X 14-1/8?h. (Purchasing a fat quarter will work sufficiently, but will only allow 2? of selvage on the right and left sides. The model was stitched using a fat quarter and there was plenty of selvage for framing.
NOTE: It is highly recommended that you stitch the design in the Dinky-Dyes Silk Floss, however, Sullivans, DMC, and Anchor comparable colors are also provided. Please keep in mind if using a comparable floss that your finished piece may look different.
